Carp fishing on the dammed section of the river Ebro in which we fish is totally
different than any other part of the Ebro. There are very deep areas, shallow
reedy areas, fast and slow flowing areas, snaggy areas and areas with no
flow at all. These areas have been kept secret for many years but now we
are making Carp fishing available to all UK Carp anglers so we can find
out just how big these Ebro Carp grow. The fishing here is very different
to the normal long stay fishing associated with catching big Carp. Here
you can catch plenty of big Carp during the day, then return to your apartment
to shower and change, then have an evening out with your friends in the
local bars and restaurants if you are not too tired from the fishing.
Methods
Boilies, pellets, method, and particles work well here. We have found you don't need to bait heavily, just light baiting and good use of PVA to trickle bait in during the day. 4oz leads are suitable for most conditions with large hooks and leaders being used to avoid fish being lost due to snags and zebra muscles. If you choose to bait up your area we now have boats available for anglers fishing at range. |
