The two main methods we use are the Buoy system and pellet fishing. Both of these methods are fished from the bank with the rods fished vertical to keep the line out of the water as much as possible and your guide using a boat to position your baits for best results. Live baits are fished near the surface whilst dead baits and pellets are fished on the river bed. Bait is available from us, either live bait Eels, Carp or Tench when available and Genuine Halibut pellet, sizes 7, 22 & 28mm. Boat fishing is available but for the majority of the time in our experience we have found it a lot less productive than bank fishing.

Your Guide will select the most productive fishing method, we don’t just vary our methods to try something different as some companies do; we fish to catch you fish. We also have boats for rent when available, for experienced Carp or Catfish anglers or those anglers wishing to just go off and explore hidden unfished areas of the river where there may be a monster fish waiting to be caught.
